Sony has appointed new head of security and privacy. Philip R. Reitinger, is responsible for years of cybersecurity at the Department of Defense of the United States.
As reported Sony through its website, Reitinger, whose appointment is effective from today, will be responsible for securing the services and assets related to information security company and its customers and users.
The appointment comes four months after the platform online for Sony consoles.
PlayStation Network, is affected by a "trespass", due to a failure in its security systems, allowed attackers to access data privacy of users of that service.
