Tap CELLULAR DATA NETWORK

Enter the following:
APN: http.globe.com.ph (for pre-paid subscribers.)
APN: inet.globe.com.ph (for post-paid subscribers)
Username: globe
Password: globe
Tap home button.
(You can omit username & password.)

Activate cellular data by tapping on ‘on’.

And enable 3g if it’s available in your area.
(Do not turn on 3g if your area does not have 3g signal. It will just drain your battery.)

ReplyDeleteIf yours is a prepaid, and still cannot get it to work properly, make sure that your roaming service is turned OFF by texting GROAM OFF to 2884. Roaming service blocks the use of mobile browsing services.

ReplyDeleteyeah, sure. it works. But hell! Globe charges outlandish rate for using 3G if you are on prepaid. How much? How about like P25 for less than 15 minutes of web-browsing? What a greedy company. All these telcos are ripping ordinary users like a bunch of hyenas.
ReplyDeleteYou should deactivate your cellular network to make sure that you credit is not drained. Just a thought...
ReplyDeleteBrod, supersurf is not a regular postpaid and so you are not a cellular service subscriber. You should change your APN setting to "http.globe.com.ph". Check the instruction above for prepaid. It should work even when your supersurf ends.
ReplyDeletebaka naman mahina ang 3g signal where you are located. i have the same problem where i work - Globe signal is weak so I can't use the cellular network there but I can when I get back to the city.
