Valve announces that Dota 2 will make its first public appearance at the Cologne Gamescom. There will also be a tournament for a million dollars with 16 of the best Dota team in the world, which will be broadcast free online.

Gabe Newell, president of Valve, has said the event “will give tens of millions of Dota players a chance to see the game for the first time.”
