The Philippine Arena, a 50,000-seater indoor performance hall will soon rise at a 74,000-square-meter area near the Philippine Capital, Manila. The ground breaking ceremony was already held this week and was attended by the Hanwha and INC officials.
The “World’s Largest Dome Arena” is expected to be finished by 2014 and will cost the Iglesia ni Cristo $175 million.
The Philippine Arena is going to one of the Church’s centennial project since the Christian organization is going to celebrate its 100th founding anniversary in July 27, 2014. Major projects includes: The EVG Convention, the EGM Medical Center and the New Era University – Bocaue.
The Philippine Arena will be built on 74,000 square meters of land and will be three times bigger than the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium, the country’s largest indoor arena according to a Hanwha official.
