The all-aluminum Lenovo Ideapad U300s from the second biggest PC manufacturer in the world comes in two colors, an eye-catching Clementine Orange, and a more subdued Graphite Gray. They minimalist design eschews and kind of unnecessary frills like flashing lights or extra buttons. What it has, is a rather pleasing “book” design when the notebook is closed up. Even the bottom of the machine is devoid of any features save for a couples of rubber feet that hides the screws. While there are most of the important ports you need to have the machine to function properly, we found the exclusion of an SD-card reader to be puzzling. However, all you have to do is lay your hands on the very robust and comfortable keyboard and the large clickable track pad, and all will be forgiven.
