It has been reported that US Institutional Shareholders Services is against the proposal of the new top management of Olympus Co. At the meeting, the following officers-designated, including President-to-be Hiroyuki Sasa, Chairman to-be Yasuyuki Kimoto and Director-to-be Hideaki Fujizuka will be presented. According to the largest shareholder, Mr. Sasa is said to have lack of experience and ability since he had not proposed detailed restructuring measures; the other two were questioned due to their previous position as bankers.
