The white iPhone 4 was released last April 28. This new version is 200 microns thicker compared to the iPhone 4 black which was released ahead of time. The white iPhone 4 was delayed because of various design problems. Starting from the color itself, it seems like Apple has found it very difficult to getting the right shade of white that houses the device because it seems to interfere with the flash of the camera dramatically reducing the image quality of the shot. Fortunately, the problem has been solved.
For those who have had the opportunity to take a closer look at the device noticed that the white iPhone 4 is 200 microns thicker compared to the iPhone 4 black model. The reason behind this was, Apple slightly modified the proximity sensor to correct problems plaguing iPhone 4 black users.
